Here are a selection of projects, models, and drawings which showcase the best of my abilities in concept and design communication using 2D, 3D, and CAD methodologies.

tea infuser bottle

The project focus was to creating a product that made use of a double insulated wall while also holding some form of liquid inside it. I chose to design a tea infuser that incorporates traditional Chinese tea brewing methods but takes a modern form.

BIOchar herb planter

Throughout this project, five different communication and design methods were used: 2D sketching, 3D sketching in cardboard and paper, CAD modelling and rendering, 3D prototyping in plaster and biochar, and finally digital photography and photo editing in Photoshop.

traditional sketching

Sketching on paper throughout the design process is arguably the most insightful part. Getting ideas down as quickly and clearly as possible not only helps myself work out and devleop my own ideas but also enables me to better communicate them to others.
